about
Richard Bisson - Designer & Director
Based in Cambridge, I have over 20 years' experience in residential architectural design throughout the stunning Waikato. As a Licensed Building Practitioner (Design 2) since 2012, I've had the privilege of designing new homes, alterations and additions for individual clients, group home builders and local building companies in both urban and rural settings.
I genuinely believe that being involved in the design of someone's home is a real privilege.
Every project is personal, and I strive to make the design process as relaxed, collaborative and enjoyable as possible. My goal is to create practical, well-considered homes that reflect the way each client lives, while providing clear guidance throughout the journey from concept to consent.
Originally from the Channel Island of Jersey in the UK, I have called Cambridge home for over twenty years and am proud to be part of the local community.
I live in Cambridge with my partner and two children.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me paddleboarding on Lake Karapiro, surfing, tending to my bonsai collection (with varying degrees of success), or enjoying being a part of a fantastic group of people at the Cambridge Badminton Club.
